    Report on-board Two Dogs

Hard to find the fish today but Jon Wilford Skipper of Two Dogs (Very clean and safe Offshore 105) put the miles in and wouldn't give up until he put us over a mark that really produced the goods
We had 70+ fish in total with 9 species and an outstanding best specimen Haddock of 3lb 12 oz. (not mine unfortunately)
Cod were well represented with some great mid water action on the way up with some lovely solid condition Coalfish and Pollack
Weather conditions were only average with a very cool sea mist and drizzle for the best part of the day
Jon will work hard for you and give great value for money
Ive been around a bit, in the fishing sense, and find Jon to be very knowledgeable ,helpful and above all else dependably honest
Give him a try you will not be disappointed (surprised that no previous reviews have been placed to be honest)

    Report on-board Che Sara Sara

What a lovely day to be at sea, nice gentle swell, warm at last and dolphins around on and off all day.Fished on the anchor during slack water producing a few pollack, dog fish, haddock, whiting and gurnard. Moved off to a reef when there was a bit more movement in the tide and then the pollack started to come to life.Proper pollack fishing tug tug dive, in the end 8 fishing caught 80 plus fish in a 4 hour period in the afternoon. Most fish were around the 4lb to 7lb mark.Right on Dave this is what we all like and love.

  • 04/06/2013 Fishing Report by Charlie Bronse on Yellowfin (Brighton, East Sussex)

4 Jun 2013 by Charlie Bronse

    Report on-board Yellowfin

Went out on a lovely, sunny but breezy evening with Kurt on Yellowfin. The brisk NE breeze meant we had to stay inshore but that didn't stop us catching ! 10 plaice up to 2lb, countless small dabs with a couple of keepers, 2 lovely sizeable bream, a couple of macks, a smoothound, a decent Channel whiting and the obligatory baby pout.

A great evening with a great skipper and we can't wait to get out again.

  • 04/06/2013 Fishing Report by Rich Ward on Shy-Torque III (Whitby, North Yorkshire)

4 Jun 2013 by Rich Ward

    Report on-board Shy-Torque III

    04.06.2013.

Yesterday we had Paul Deardons lads on from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue. With another perfect forecast ahead we had a run to a few wrecks South East of Baymans Hole.

When we arrived we found the water to be very coloured still and the fishing wasn't really that good either. Around a dozen or so fish off the first 3 wrecks. We ran South a few miles to try and find clearer water and fished two more wrecks where it looked to be a little better. Wrong!! Still mucky down below.........onwards again!!

With only a few hours left of the trip we headed further South and dropped on a couple more wrecks. Bingo, the water was much clearer here. With the last two wreks of the day being only 2 miles from each other we still had time to salvage the day. Twenty codling off the first one and another couple of dozen off the last one was a result and the lads finished off with around 60 fish between the 5 of them.

Flat calm conditions and a great team of lads who always enjoy their fishing whether it be good or bad.

Looking forward to your next trip in September lads.

    Cheers

    Rich.
