We all caught plenty of fish, and Colin was excellent at putting us on the fish and had loads of patients with the lads who had no idea.
He showed them how to set up and bait up.I set out to catch a conger as I never have had one, with coloins help I achieved this, plus a monster that got away (it must have been 70lb aye Colin :-) . In all seriousness, a top boat top skipper and will be booking again so brush up on your sign language Colin!
Reef fishing, 8 species caught. Highly recommended! Listen to him and you'll not go wrong. Get your trip booked with him.

Report on-board Lady Helen
Sailed at 10.30am from the Marina with a party of lads from Cheshire, went to an inshore mark first, into fish right away, nice flatties, dogs and whitting, and the occasonail smoothie, went a bit further off and the same results, flatties, whitting and dogs, so moved onto a mark that has produced some nice plaice over the last few weeks but none showed today but loads of big dabs, whitting and a few rays, Steve (crew) caught one of the smallest rays I have ever seen on rod and line, and not to many doggies thank hevens, last move to catch the flood tide to the first mark, which was not as good fishing as when we started but still caught fish and produced our first Tope of the year on about 6lb but it shows they are on the way.

Report on-board Two Dogs
Hard to find the fish today but Jon Wilford Skipper of Two Dogs (Very clean and safe Offshore 105) put the miles in and wouldn't give up until he put us over a mark that really produced the goods

We had 70+ fish in total with 9 species and an outstanding best specimen Haddock of 3lb 12 oz. (not mine unfortunately)
Cod were well represented with some great mid water action on the way up with some lovely solid condition Coalfish and Pollack
Weather conditions were only average with a very cool sea mist and drizzle for the best part of the day
Jon will work hard for you and give great value for money
Ive been around a bit, in the fishing sense, and find Jon to be very knowledgeable ,helpful and above all else dependably honest
Give him a try you will not be disappointed (surprised that no previous reviews have been placed to be honest)
