    12th Febuary

A short 6hour trip and Coiles and Congers were on the cards with good banter and a big pot on Chilli!
Unfortunatly we couldnt manage to boat any Coiles as it was a rather large tide but once the tide eased we moved from hitting Dogs, Dabs and whitting on every other drop to anchor into a shallow wreck to try our luck, within 10 minutes of the anchor going down we had the first Conger on the boat all be it was only 12lb.
In the next hour we manged another two ells and droped the same.
The day finished off with a fair amount of Dogs, Whtting, Dabs, Pollack and 3 Congers, best fish of the day was a Conger just shy of the 30lb region ( pictured mark with his PB Conger)

Still time to get some Conger trips out to the wrecks in St, Goerges channel with Special winter rates.

    Tight lines Aaron

    Report on-board High Flyer 2

What a cracking break in the weather today, light winds, sun came out perfect conditions, headed south to good old Corton again bit further up this time. After chasing our tail all last week offshore with dissapointing cod catches the deep water proving very difficult, our inshore tactics paid off. The whiting were not as prolific as they have been better in size though and no flatties at all today very strange! We ended up with 30 codling biggest around four to five pound mark , in perfect prime condition , everybody on the boat caught, thanks to Chalky for helping out the less experienced anglers for the uptiding tuition, Mike first time on High Flyer, along with Andy hope to see you guys again,Matty the only man i know to catch a frozen herring, and Marty and Arek who drive hour and half to be with us its much appreciated. In all we had a brilliant day ,enjoyed the company, glad we had a result ,well done men and thank you. Jon.

    Report on-board Bad Boyz VI

Well the winter has been hard with more wind then we have ever seen, only being able to get out on a few trips this year so far and producing plenty of Coalies, Whitting, Dogs, Codlings and a few Huss thrown in.

SPRING TOPEING in april still has a few dates left for small tides.

WRECKING, with last year being such a productive time out in St.Goerges channel for Cod and Pollack the dates a being filled quickly.
There are a still a few dates left so get them booked to avoid being dissapointed.
WITH BAD BOYS BEING THE ONLY WRECKING BOAT OFF HOLYHEAD we have many wrecks that we fish all too ourselves.

    Tight lines

    Report on-board Cleveland Princess

09/02/12 A lot of weed today but Eugene and John still found plenty of cod 24 up 5lb and a few whiting as well, big tide on the flood made the down tide rods work hard with a 1lb+ lead on to hold bottom the balloon method that we use in these fast tides came up trumps working the gear 50-100yds from the stern up tiders were ok with 8ozs but iam affraid you tend to lose a bit of tackle as the bottom is littered with crap, well done you boys see you soon,Brian/Paul.

    Report on-board Mistress

Today saw settled weather again, so with only a couple of lads interested in a trip we set sail for a bit of winter uptiding. we had a good spring tide today with plenty of tide to get the fish feeding. we had a great start with me catching a fish touching 10lb, but the rest of the day proved a bit slow despite a few moves. we finally called it day when the heavens opened and we got a dollop of snow!

    Report on-board Excel 2

Lots of skate still being caught and some good cod inshore aswell.

The offshore wreck fishing has been difficult the last few days after the North Easterly winds which have dropped the water temperature . It'll improve over the next few days as we all aclimatise !

Rare individual spaces on a weekend this Sunday 12th.

    Keep it tight,

    Dave.
