[This report was written when Size Matters was operating from Plymouth]
The fishing from Plymouth is now in full swing and the water temperature is just right for this time of year.
There are reports of mackerel starting to show, the odd shark and the occasional Sunfish.
We have been catching
Cod to 21lb, Ling to 21lb, Pollack to 14lb, Coalfish to 12lb and Conger to 38lb.
It’s so good to see the Coalfish making a comeback and every time we go out we are catching more and more Cod.
Most are only 3lb to 5lb but this is a very good sign for the future.
We only have a few individual places available for 2018.
PLYMOUTH.

July
Sunday 8th 23 hour Wrecking trip £150 pp 2 places available.
Thursday 12th Wrecking £75 pp 2 places available.
If you are interested in booking a trip with us in 2019 from Plymouth we only have 14 days available.
We have now started taking bookings for 2020 Summer season from Plymouth.

Hi all
Here at Hartlepool things are picking up
The mackerel have now started to show and plenty of coddling for the table nothing big fist nice 2 to 4lbers
Both shads and baited hokkis and daylights working

Well what a day today fished the ground for a couple of hrs this morning and then fished 2 wrecks that where lifting with fish from the first drift to the last on most drifts every rod bent over good stamp again off wrecks with the guys and girls throwing fish back well into legal size back all day and especially towards the later of the day. Total kept was 76 between 5 which is not bad going by any standards. Easy over 100 fish to the boat today and I even helped the lads out off the other charter boat out who came in after us and gave them the fish I had caught. They struggled ��������
