    Report on-board Mistress Linda / San Gina3

Last weekend we had the pleasure of Lymington SAC on saturday fishing their species league, mostly it went to plan but the Garfish remained illusive on Sunday we headed out to target Bream with the Gannet AC team who found plenty of small to medium sized Bream all day. The bites were very tentative and many were missed but a good day was had by all. Today we did the same and again the fish were very finnicky but we managed to boat plenty and again feed the fish on many occasions. I averaged a fish per drop so was well happy.

    Report on-board My Way 2

Sdeff wanted her first ever ray today, happy to report mission accomplished, even if Minns tangled and tried to shake it off.

Another glorious day afloat, main targets rays and huss, we managed to find a good few too.

Tried for a few tope in the afternoon, but nothing doing. Dogs and more huss.

All in another good fun day afloat

    Report on-board Flamer IV

A lovley day on the Banks started with a session on the drift which produced some Turbot, with Gareth Brown catching his first ever one. Then a session at anchor to the East of Weymouth saw several Thornback Rays, Smoothounds and an Undulate Ray caught. Gareth Brown caught his first ever Thornback and proceded to break his Personal Best twice. Russell Salmon also broke his Personal Best Thornback record. Steven Clark caught his first ever Undulate Ray weighing 13Ib 12oz and is pictured. Later in the day I was in Weymouth harbour fueling up and Kevin Clark put some small ragworm baits on a small hoki trace and caught a Sand Smelt and a Flounder thus increasing the Flamer IV species count for 2018 to 31 different species.

    Report on-board Incentive

First day that we have hit a meaningful amount of mackerel this season. With the lads getting plenty for bait, enough for home then leaving a shoal to move on to other fishing. A sign that they're here for the summer now?
Abit of moving around but in the end quite the huss fest with 6 to the boat at any one point, keeping me busy with the net.
Good fishing found close Inshore maximising fishing time.
Spaces available on 5 hour trips this week. 07515870026. Facebook- incentive sea fishing trips.

12 May 2018 by Richard Carr

    Report on-board Northeastern

Today we headed out on a 8hr wrecking trip. Fishing had took off in the last few weeks so we where expecting a good day and boy did that happen. Fish from the off multiple hook ups and 5 sometimes 7 of the 8 rods bent over with fish all cod between 3 to 5.5lb . We only needed to fish 3 wrecks in our 8hr day slowly picking the correct wrecks for the difference in tide and drift. All lads where happy and a total of 61 prime eating cod over the gunnels and around a dozen going back. Shads where the order of the day but there where fish taken on pirks and baited hokkai rigs.
