Hi Rob,
View Boats Page
Heart felt thanks for an amazing day.
Your relaxed style helped set the mood for an unforgetable day.
Excellent tackle, bait and regular cups of tea helped us all catch PB's. We have all learnt new skills.
We saw 9 species landed (including a 14lb Smothhound and doule figure rays). You constantly predicted what we could catch next.
We look forward to our next trip with you soon. Kevin (Ken).UPCOMING INDIVIDUAL SPACES ONBOARD Sea-Juicer

Fishing Report by Sam Cumming
on Silver Spray II (Poole, Dorset)
May 2017 by Sam Cumming
Report on-board Silver Spray II
Despite a week or so of easterly winds the fishing from Poole has been very good in the last month. We have mostly been bream fishing, with great success on the marks in the Bay. The size of the fish we are seeing has been very encouraging with plenty of 3lb plus fish hitting the baits. The best bream so far has been Barry Culver's 4lb 8oz PB which was caught on squid head. As well as the bigger fish we have had some good numbers on other marks too, usually a smaller stamp so plenty returned for next season. Our first Alderney trip went well, with some cracking brill on the banks being the highlight. The wreck fishing was very quiet in late April but I'm pleased to say that its picked back up again now and we are starting to see the first of the cod. The mackerel have started to arrive as well, how long they will stick around for is another matter, we have had catches off Poole, Alderney and in the Channel. Looking forward to some more wrecking trips over the coming weeks to target some big cod.

Thursday 18th May, 4 lads out today on a 5hr trip wrecking up to 5mile off and still a little slow so we moved inshore on the rough ground, The 4 lads still found it a little slow and hard to catch any thing until my partner Julie dropped a line in and pulled up two codling around 3 half lb each has the say it takes a woman to show the men how its done,

Fishing Report by William Holland

Report on-board Bad Boyz VI
Hi all ,I have just arrived home from a wrecking trip out of Holyhead Angelsey on board Bad Boyz skippered by Aaron.I am 66 years old and as you can imagine, I have been on countless trips some of which have been negative and some that where positive .Today's trip was a good one and clearly ranks in my top ten since I started fishing, we caught a lot of good quality fish ,mainly Pollack but getting fish is only part of a good trip, The service, expertise, knowledge of the job and a deep desire to ensure the customer ( us anglers who pay the money) get satisfaction and quality. I came off the boat feeling 100% satisfied which is something I have not done for awhile.

Bad Boyz delivers all round quality if that is what your after then get a trip booked with Bad Boyz out of Holyhead.
Thanks Aaron for a truly splendid day. -

With a drop in tides and near perfect wind conditions, I expected today to produce well for us on Mistress here at Whitby.

Unfortunately 2 lads had to cancel leaving only 3 lads available for the trip, I always sail with a minimum of 3 anyway so it was game on! it also gave me a chance to wet a line myself too!
Although it was never really hard and fast we moved around a few wrecks and finally finishing on a ground mark, taking a steady picking everywhere we went.
Shads took most of the fish as predicted due to the water clearing quickly now, with squid taking a few better fish too.
we finished up with around 50 keepers for the day between the 4 of us, the best 2 lads taking 14 each!
There are signs of increased activity of bait fish now on the sounder so the mackerel are only just round the corner for us!
I currently have space for:
Monday 22nd ( totally free - 3 minimum)
Tuesday 23rd (4 places available)
Wednesday 24th ( 6 hr trip - totally free - 6 minimum)
Thursday 25th (7 places available)
Friday 26th (totally free - 3 minimum)
If youre interested in joining me for a trip give me call/text on 07977 436903 or Email: seafishingwhitby@hotmail.co.uk

Report on-board Brigand
Great to welcome Andy & his crew aboard today. Plan was to have a nice relaxed day on the Plaice & Bream inshore but............. Having dodged 3 miles of commercial nets, avoided a couple of sets of beam trawlers and arrived on the reef with flat clam sea and little tide the frustration was beginning to tell!

Wrecking was the call and I opened up the engines and the tackle box - Billy cleaned up with almost a fish a drift (Carp anglers often do very well on the wrecks) and we had a great day landing over 150lb of fin perfect Pollock in the 6-8lb range...... not the monsters we are used to but fabulous eating fish.
My call on the wrecking so I pick up the additional fuel bill, only fair and you will all be treated to the same courtesy.
Best wishes

the wind was kind to us initially and then turned nasty curtailing both trips early.the boys had to work hard for the fish but what was noticeable was the increase in the amount of bull huss(6 each day).we are still just getting the odd mackerel along with loads of doggies, small haddock/codling/whiting/coalies.
the paisley boys fished the jigheads and ragworms in close for the pollack on sunday and we caught 5,biggest at 3lb so it appears that they are not there in any numbers yet.
biggest huss this season so far to jonathon at 11lb(his p.b) and pictured
