Report on-board High Flyer 2
Weekend of June 25th/26th 2016 weather was lovely flat calm seas and a bit of sun makes a change! Decided to look offshore for mackerel as bit of sun on the water and reasonably clear for the viz, so headed north unfortunately had to wait as we missed the tide so burned a bit of time inshore off Winterton catching few smoothies , had one small bass which was great. After few hours headed out to first bank produced on the feathers a herring, a scad and one mackerel followed by sandeeels so out further ended up on the 9 miler where we connected with a few, Crackin sandeels too big for bait! Picture today is of Danny with couple of smoothies first time on Flyer . Sunday was much of the same more mackerel today same sort of area, again brilliant sandeels, tide raced a bit offshore so headed in for bit of drifting, i lost good take on mackerel head snapped me up . Ended up inside to finish the day off with too many pesky whiting , few more smoothies and late again home as usual was most enjoyable weekend, big thanks to the lads Saturday all way from Liecester, also Dereham Angling on Sunday looking forward to the next one. Cheers. Jon (High Flyer)

A great 4 hour Wrecking Trip

not ideal tides for the wrecks but as slack water was halfway through the trip this gave the anglers the ideal opportunity to have a go on the inshore wrecks.
The anglers managed to get several Cod, Ling and pollock with a great stamp of fish showingUPCOMING INDIVIDUAL SPACES ONBOARD Skylark

A great day with a variety of species caught from the rough ground, clean ground and wrecks.
Overall the lads manage to catch 8 different species throughout the day.
overall the best fish caught was a 11lb Thornback ray with a second fish just slightly behind it just over 10lb, all the rays were returned today unharmed to fight another day, which it great to see.
we even got a glimpse of the Queen Mary Passing byUPCOMING INDIVIDUAL SPACES ONBOARD Skylark

Report on-board Mistress Linda / San Gina3
The Ray fishing has been excellent during the last few weeks with many Undulates, Small Eyed and Spotted Ray's being landed each trip. During the last week mackeral have been more plentiful with anglers restocking their freezers for the next trip and getting a few for the BBQ. The bigger bream seem to be thinning out or perhaps they are just not getting a look in with smaller pesky ones hitting the baits quicker. Offshore the wrecks have provided some good pollack fishing. The coloured water which badly affected the Plaice fishing is now clearing and we are starting to find a few along the Piers and in the Swash.
