View Boats Page
next trip was 5.30pm - 9pm......whiting 4 at a time(some pushing 2lb!) on the feathers and anywhere from just subsurface to the bottom but all are full of very small sandeels......also 15 stone (210 lb) of mackerel between 4 anglers, coming up in 4's,5's and 6's at a time.....hectic was an understatement!!....crates and crates of them.
we were also getting mixed hook-ups on the feathers....not just whiting or mackerel but both -

Report on-board Che Sara Sara
Proper hot weather and proper fishing great day out. 14 mile out wrecking and reefing 50 plus pollack and a few ling thrown in for good measure. One or two gurnard and several anglers having to pay fines for catching pouting.Dolphins sighted through out the day and the sea was flat calm certainly not what we are used to long may it last.

For Paul and his mate nothing was too much trouble. Four lads used the boat fishing gear and after a couple of lessons from Paul and his mate they weren't disappointed.
Paul placed us on top of fish right from the beginning and beginners caught fish straight-away - it was a brilliant day this coupled with brilliant weather meant a great day.
The boat allowed all anglers bags of room meaning very few tangles. We had caught several species and everyone on the boat caught fish and all went home very happy and eager to try boat fishing again. We highly recommend Paul his mate and boat to anyone as a great boat fishing day out.
Many thanks Paul see you again soon.

Today was a no go for us as I had to attend my Aunts funeral but we will be back at it again tomorrow and will probably be heading out over the horizon again, back to where we've had a couple of monsters on in the last couple of trips.
Hopefully we will have more luck and actually manage to boat one of them this time!!
Good luck to one and all who are entering this years comp.
