Craig Giddings and his mates, Haydon & Janine and James joined us last Saturday and had a lovely day on the grounds on the 5, 7 and 9 mile.
They picked away all day from start to finish and ended up with a lovely show of cod to take back to West Yorkshire.
The water is still clearing nicely and we are catching steadily now on the Shads and Sidewinders as well as the squid baits.
The group are pictured with some of their catch.
Cheers

Great weekend of weather for once, everybody catching spotty dogs keeping busy. Afraid the whitting still about. Had odd small smoothound not in here in numbers yet wont be long the water temp is slowly climbing. Nice to see the skate coming in all returned via one so pleased with everyones conservation efforts well done. Tides weak next week so bit of distance to the deeper water on tues will keep you posted on that. New colour waterproof stickers are in so if you want one for tackle box or to stick on your forehead let me know will send you how many you want out, we do appreciate it when we see them about it all helps. Summer dates are filling fast dont leave it till last minute especially if you want weekend date. will be starting few wrecks soon as water clears keep eye for that plus specialist tope soon as they arrive next month as a rule. until then tight lines everyone leaving you picture of Richard Deeks local regular on High Flyer 2 withb a well deserved roker. Cheers Jon

Hi
View Boats Page
We got out today and took advantage of the fine weather to fish some wrecks. We had around
70 Pollack and Coley with a good few around the 8lb mark.
Power baits and Rhubarb and Custards seemed most popular.
Cheers

Report on-board My Way 2
We had a hard day afloat yesterday, the forecasted 12 to 18knots developed into 32 knots of southerly wind. All safe in the bay, but Fishing was sketchy with dogs huss and Whiting be mainstay our out catches.
View Boats Page
The forecast today stuck to plan and with light winds we were rewarded with some great fishing.
The deeps produced tope, spurdogs and huss with the drifting offering some good size pollack and wrasse.
I won’t mention the one that got away, would have been the biggest cod landed on My Way ( currently 6lb no monster I know but the port isn’t renowned for large cod ). To the surface, but sadly spat the hook just as the net was being lowered, no it wasn’t my fault
