Report on-board Shy-Torque III
At last something to report after 5 trips out of Whitby this year.Fish the late Whitby competition yesterday. 7 on board, rich boat (shy-torque ) slow for the mackerels at first for bait then sail out for the hunting grounds 18 miles out. First wreck few small ling plus odd pollock and coley etc. Second wreck small results but the current was too strong so couldn't hold baits down for intended prize fish. Moved to other then mackerels show up by the thousands!! With that 5 of us fish for them to fill our cool boxes leaving two on the back fishing for the big stuff and BINGO. Our man Simon with best ling of the day and best fish so far in the coming competition. Weight 17lbs plus so not a big fish to beat by all means.. like the old chinaman says... "you ave to be in to win"

Report on-board Wave Dancer
Another fun day on board wave dancer today. Several firsts for the anglers today, Gary caught his first bull bus and it was also the biggest fish he has ever caught 10lb 6. Lots of mackerel was caught also several first. Young Lewis caught his first tub gurnard. Lewis was after his first ray so we took a move to look for rays. At the next spot we got into the usual doggies some decent sized bull Huss and Lewis managed to snag his first ray. The skipper called the day with first and most fish in the bag. Gaz had won biggest with his 10lb 6 bull Huss from earlier, as I was readying the boat for our return the skipper shouted for the net, his ugly stick was bent over, eventually we netted yet another bull Huss. Once we had untangled him we weighed him would you believe it 10lb 6 to nearly take the clean sweep.Great day, great weather, and great fishing.

Report on-board Wave Dancer
Probably the most hectic trip yet 10 people for poker and fishing. A strange mix but oddly it worked if not a bit cramped. Just a short 4 hour trip but it was action packed. No sooner had the chips been shared out for the start of the tournament the first fish was being reeled in. A decent doggie was landed, followed by a decent ray caught by Kyle. Once we had settled down the poker was started, however before the first hand was played another ray was landed by the other Kyle. At the end of the trip we had hauled in 8 rays of varying sizes and 2 decent doggies. Fish were caught and money was won all had a great day and went home happy.

Report on-board Size Matters
ATTENTION ALL ANGLERS..
View Boats Page
Size Matters will be in Liverpool for the winter Cod season on the 20th October and will be available for charters from October 23rd to April 9th. Kevin will be fishing neap tides in the Mersey and Spring tides over the banks and channels in Liverpool Bay. Size Matters will be sailing from Liverpool Marina and most charters will be 9 to 10 hours depending on lock times each day. It has also been known for Kevin to stay out for up to 13 hours at no extra charge!!
ABOUT THE SKIPPER..
Kevin has over 30 years fishing experience and is a mad keen angler who lives for fishing.
He is so passionate about what he does,
to him it's not work it's a way of life.
Kevin is also a fishing guide for one of the UK's leading fishing holiday companies Sportquest and has been involved in many magazine articles both home and abroad.
He gets job satisfaction from putting his anglers on big fish and helping them catch their personal best fish.
LIVERPOOL..
Kevin is a born and bread scouser and he knows the Mersey like the back of his hand.
The best things about fishing in the winter from Liverpool you are fishing within 10 minutes of leaving the lock gates, you are fishing in well sheltered areas from the strong winds, you have the view of the world famous Liverpool water front just a few hundred yards away and best of all is the fishing. Last year our best day on the Cod was 64 keepers to 15lb 8oz, our best day on the Thornback rays was 56 to 13lb 5oz!!!
THE VESSEL SIZE MATTERS..
Please note Size Matters is 45ft in length and is 16ft wide. This provides a massive deck space and can easily accommodate 12 anglers in comfort, some anglers even bring fold out camp chairs there is that much room.
Cost for the whole boat charter is £450 maximum 12 anglers and individuals are £45 per person. All charters include top quality rod and reel hire, all your rigs, weights and hot drinks. Bait can be arranged if you need it, black lug is £3 per pack of 10, squid is in 1lb boxes and costs £4 per box.
ONBOARD FACILITIES..
We do not do food just quality fishing charters but there is a microwave and kettle onboard if you would like to use them.
The wheelhouse can seat up to 10 anglers and is fully heated; perfect if it's a wet cold winter day or night to dry out and warm up.
There is heated and spacious toilet facilities you can use at your convenience, but must be kept clean at all times.
If you want to keep your catch for the table Kevin will professionally fillet it so you don't have to do it when you get home after a long day at sea.

Report on-board Mistress Linda / San Gina3
The last few days have all been tailored to the Bournemouth International Airshow and for 3 days we had glorious weather some fantastic flying displays great fishing and 3 eat as much as you can BBQs. Although the fish were small they were very playful and added excitement between aerobatic displays. Over the event we must have taken thousands of pictures of planes, seagulls and clouds as just when you think you have a perfect photo the boat rolls and another seagull gets his pic taken. If you enjoy airshows the only place to get the best views and pictures are from the sea with the sun behind you and nothing in front of you.

Looking forward to next year already.

Report on-board Ocean Warrior 3
The end of August and this month so far has given us the odd day of nice weather to get out fishing.
View Boats Page
We have been getting some Turbot and Bard Gunderson brought out his 2 sons out for a days fishing. They had some nice Turbot on the day.
On the day there were about 50 Turbot caught on the day. There are also a few Plaice on the inshore marks along with some Underlate Ray and Thornbacks showing as well. There are also some nice Black Bream showing too.
Looking forward to fishing throughout September and hoping that the weather stays kind. We are also still enjoying the move to Brighton Marina, which offers a wide range of restaruants and bars to enhance the day.
