A very hard day's fishing today to much ground swell to push off and anchor. Found a few hounds on the crab but the highlight of the day were the hot dogs, wish I had taken pics but they ate them to fast. Thanks boys and girls for fun day.

[This report was written when Size Matters was operating from Plymouth]
That’s another week in Costa Del Plymouth done and dusted for Size Matters.
We have been smashing a few PB’s for our anglers catching quality summer Ling to 21lb, Pollack to 16lb, Cod to 10lb 8oz and Whiting to 3lb.
The Conger fishing has picked up but we have not caught anything over 35lb yet, that will all change when we start anchoring the off shore marks in the coming weeks.
The Shark fishing has been very tough with our best day being just 3 Blues to 60lb, we even blanked on one shark trip, it’s been 3 years since we last done that.
Sefton Sea Anglers are looking for 3 anglers to join them on Sunday July 28th fishing for Conger and Ling, if you would like to join them give me a call.

Absolute belting 8hr trip with a really good stamp of fish
Not the greatest of conditions with a lively swell all day but the fish just didn't stop biting.
Overal the lads had a massive amount of fish unfortunalty we didn't take alot of photos as the lads were keen to gut and fillet the fish straight away and we were to busy enjoying the great fishing we had.
Overal the lads must have returned two thirds of what they had caught putting alot of legal size fish back to fight another day. Which is fantastic to see with the news pressing on about fish stocks.
Great pleasure having the lads on from low woods angling club plenty of friendly banter as always.

hi anglers out on offshore wrecks off AMLWCH . superb fishing with a great bunch of lads from Wigan loads of Pollack up to 9lbs and many coalfish to 61/2 lbs with the odd cod coming to the net . plenty of mackerel about if you want them. the wrecks are fishing very well if you want a trip cheers ROY

Excellent day out fishing today, ended up with around 60 keepers taking 1st and 3rd on the day with a Ling 14lb 11oz caught by Martin Hallowell which was first and a 3rd place Ling caught by Paul Mahoney weighing 11lb 7oz. We now lie 2nd and 4th overall three days left to try and get the big one.
