Nice day at sea yesterday with a small group of 6.
Some nice cod and ling again for the lads, the best fish falling to young local angler Fergus Powell. A lovely ling of 12 lbs caught on his 20 lb class Daiwa Interline. Great sport!!
Fergus ending up the top rod for the day too with 15 fish. A great day with great banter.

Fantastic inshore 6hr trip today cod and Pollock were flying over the rail as well as a few ling.
Also a good amount of mackerel still showing

Photos from yesterday's 3hr trips a good amount of codling and Pollock about as well as loads off mackerel.
Great to see every customer managing to catch something today. Weather during the day was quite windy but the evening trip was a absolute treat.
Plenty of wildlife about during the trip with frequent sighting off Gannett's diving, loads of other sea birds too, and several porpoise sightings too View Boats Page

A nice steady day on the cod and ling today working the grounds along the 3 mile .
Nice plump summer codling for the table on the shads. The ling mainly falling to the baited rigs. No t many mackerel about today unfortunately.

The Flamer IV Big Fish Competition took place on a lovely day in July, we did sessions at anchor on Banks/Reefs to the east of Weymouth which produced plenty of Rays (Blondes, Undulates, Small Eyed and Spotted), Congers, along with Black Bream, Tope, Smooth Hounds etc. Andy Collings won the competition with 283 points, Runner up was Paul Milkins 252 points, Third place was Robin Amor with 210 points. Andy Collings caught a new Personal Best Black Bream weighing 3Ib 12oz. Peter Minns landed his first ever Undulate Ray and Brill.
