Just a few trips ago we were jigging hokkies for Bass landing over 30 fish to 4lbs. Still some weekend date's available for groups or individuals so get out your water proofs and come on down. Report on-board Vanishing Point-2
Hi everyone..... well Vanishing Point-2 departed Bradwell marina at 0800, with the rain teaming down and the sea was as flat as glass...!!! nothing could dampen the spirit of our new party...!! they were right up for it.

With experienced and novice anglers on board, we (Nicola) helped set up the rods, and pre-pair for what was to be a really good days fishing.
Once we picked our spot, we dropped the anchor, and within 5 minutes we had the first fish on... a nice 5 lbs Roker, the followed by another, and another, blimey you would have thought it was spring Roker session..!!! then once we got settled, we had the first of the Codling on board.
By the time we got to lunch time, and the tide was about to turn, we moved North into 18 foot of water, as the tide was about to hump out of the Blackwater, and I knew that the fish would have pushed up near the shore line, and we positioned ourselves in a place where we could catch them as they came off the beach line as the tide started to drop..!! and we were there to nab them..!! and we did ..
We finished the day with around 20 Codling to 6.5 lbs and 5 Roker to 6 lbs .
Well on the way back to Bradwell, as usual, Nicola did all the filleting and skinning and the boys were very grateful, but all those who know Nicola know she is a wizard with a knife...!!! (I sleep with one eye open...lol)
but once back in our berth the lads thanked us both for our baiting up,casting, and prepossessing their fish and said that was the best fishing trip they have had in many, many years.. which is always nice to see happy and satisfied customers leaving the boat....
Look forward to seeing you guys next trip..!!! tight lines..!!!!

Fishing Report by Carl Farrar
on TROT- ON (Whitby, North Yorkshire)

Report on-board TROT- ON
With a rare day off Dolly decided to have a few hours uptiding to try a few marks for the up coming Uptide festival Nov 7th - 22nd and what a few hours it turned out to be. As soon as the anchor was set and from the first cast the fish were attacking the baits which were a mixture of Cart, Worm, Squid cocktails. the fish ranged from 1lb to 5lb The fishing was mental with over 30 fish boated by 4 anglers in just over 2 hours. Most of the fish were returned except the deep hooked ones all in all it was a very enjoyable and informative few hours. If you fancy a trip uptiding with a chance of winning the £1000 first place prize in the W.S.A forum uptide festival then give Paul Eddon a call on 07766995847

Fishing Report by Rich Cope
on Mistress (Whitby, North Yorkshire)
26 Oct 2015 by Rich Cope
Report on-board Mistress
We've managed to sneak a couple more days Uptiding in here at whitby this week since our last report, the tides continued to lift which gave us the opportunity to explore a few of the marks we fished last year to see what we have in store in for us over the coming months.
View Boats Page
The #Mistress anglers weren't disappointed in what we found! We've had some absolutely belting fish with the general stamp of fish being around the 4lb mark, but saying that every trip so far has chucked a lot 6lbers out too, two of the trips this last week has seen double figure fish coming to the boat. Ling to 12lb 8oz and Cod to 10lb 4oz, most days were getting a couple of 8lbers too, plus plenty of fish for everyone. We're currently averaging 60-90 cod per day for the boat.
I'm off for a well earned holiday on Thursday and will get back at the fish from the 6th November, when our Uptiding festive sweepstake will begin and run to the 15th December, some great prizes and cash up for grabs just in time for Christmas!, entry is £5 per person per rod (on top of the charter fee £45 per person), and all entry money will go to the total fund at the end of the comp. we still have dates available, so get yourselves booked in!
