Cracking days fishing on the offshore marks today one angler caught 4 cod on one drop, plenty of doubles, best catch was by tom who ended up with 20 nice cod.

Managed to get out Sat 10th and 11th November
We saw a good few cod and ling on both days biggest ling would have just touched 12lb and the biggest cod 8lb
Shade were still taking cod which is a good sign for the time of year View Boats Page

We keep squeezing a day or 2 in between the windy weather.
Last Saturday was our last day away. The weather wasn't the best to be perfectly honest and the tide was running a bit sharpish too but the lads worked hard and were rewarded with a sprinkling of cod and ling each.
A couple of "doubles" of codling on the baited rigs. Best fish on the boat was a cracking (for Whitby) Tub Gurnard caught by Neal Wadsworth from Halifax at 2 lb 13 oz.
Next weeks availability :-
Mon 19th Nov. Room for 4.
Tues 20th Nov. Room for 7.
Wed 21st Nov. Empty boat. ( Will sail with just 3 )

Thoroughly enjoyable morning afloat on the Menai Straits on Saturday, despite the odd downpour!
For the first of our Pure Fishing winter fun competitions, the guys and young lady recorded a good 150 fish during the 4hrs Fishing.
Catches included some good size whiting, dogfish, small codling, mini species and a solitary huss.
Congratulations to overall winner Chris Firth who won a brand new Shakespeare Agility 2 20lb boat rod for his winning bag.

With conditions far from good again this weekend i cancelled both partys as a lot of dout as to what the weather patern was going to through up at us,but as from 12th Monday night the wind should be going round to the West again for a short time that will allow me to get out yet be it off Corton in the lee,so if you want the oppurtunity to catch a shed load of fish with may be a small Cod (these are the size that are around at the moment that Colin is holding) give me a call on 07771926590.

Fishing this Autumn has been phenomenal with lots of specimen fish,Species and Piscary boat records
Dave Colclough broke the boat record Tub Gurnard with a magnificent fish of 6lb 4oz,Nick Lark broke the Couch's Bream Record and Roy Adams added a Species for the boat an Atlantic Bonito of 10oz , as it was not on our list he wins a free trip! Andy Peadon equaled the boat record Ballan Wrasse with a fish of 6lb 6oz. Other fish of note were an 18lb Undulate Ray caught by Adam,14lb Pollack for Rex Swansbury,27lb Blonde Ray for the Captain,another Ballan of 6lb 4oz for Shaun Collins-Linsey,2lb 4oz Sole for Dave Colclough,13lb Smothound for Andy Peadon and Golden Grey Mullet for Steve Churchill.Along with quite a few nice Pollack ,Congers,Tope,Bullhuss and Rays offshore and Great Plaice,Bream,Bass,Rays and Species inshore.The species tally for 2018 know stands at boat record 60! Hi
Out last Sunday and the Wednesday before. Loads of Spurdogs to 16lb, Huss to 14lb with loads of Mackerel still about.
Herrings and whiting plus Gurnard on the bottom and good size Pollock and Coley on the reefs. Big Wrasse too.
We had a 35lb plus tope to the boat so they are still about. All in all an excellent day.
We still have a couple of days before the end of the season if you fancy a good day out.
